“I have personally taken these courses and think they are fabulous!” says Corkie
Lucy Walker's Metalsmith Academy is perfect for beginners and intermediate jewelers alike. New to metalsmithing? Classes teach the fundamentals with no experience needed. Ready to level up? Go beyond the basics with advanced classes like bead setting, flush setting, and creating bezels for fancy shaped stones. You'll learn from great videos and helpful PDFs, stay motivated with fun challenges, and connect with a supportive community of jewelers along the way.
Learn from Emilie Shapiro, an author and educator with over 20 years of jewelry making experience and a successful wholesale and retail jewelry business. She offers beginner and intermediate lost wax classes with her unique style and approach, plus business classes. No experience needed!
Learn from Sandy of Wax Carvers, a wax carving teacher in the Netherlands whose online classes you can watch as often as you like, wherever you are in the world. She teaches everything from stacking rings and charms to gemstone bezels and animal carvings, with beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes in both hard and soft wax. You don't need a studio full of specialized tools to get started, since the classes use basic tools most jewelers already have. Expect traditional techniques with a fun twist!
