Here is a tip to protect your new sheet metal from @weatherbeaten - “Whenever I get a new shipment of sheet metal, I cover both sides of it with transfer film to protect it from scratches. I’ve been using Cricut transfer film, but there’s probably a less expensive alternative out there. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue on the metal, and you can write on it with a permanent marker. Now I can store it with my other sheet metal without having to worry about scratches!” We’ve also seen people do it with painter’s tape!
