For this week’s #tooltalktuesday I wanted to show off a set of economy anvils from @splenortools this set is a great affordable option that gives you a few different surfaces to work on - Flat, Low Dome, Medium Dome and High Dome. You can use the various domed shapes to form subtle domes, you can also use it to support a dome while you do further texturing. The flat one can be used as a surface to texture and stamp on. I also found if I already have a domed shaped I can add additional textures without losing my shape. I like that these anvils don’t take up much space and are easy to move around. The bases they are on do reduce noise when hammering as well. For those that have used domed anvils I would love to hear how you’ve found them helpful! Comment below!
