When saw piercing, your saw should be as close to the bench pin as possible. Trying to work with your piece hanging right off the side of the bench pin as in that first image will cause excess vibrations as you work, which can lead to; rough looking work, broken blades, emotional distress and eventual alcoholism.” 🤣🤣 thank you for letting me share!
