For today’s #tooltalksaturday we are discussing the Chenier Cutter a.k.a Tube Cutting Jig from the bench of @estherweinbergjewellery - “My fave tool for holding wire to get the same length for earring posts or rivits…. You are assured of a perfect cut with little swarf. You do have to go slow and watch the last cut as the wire tuns into a pinger… Aka Ping where did that gooooo? The handle is perfect to hold, and rest on my bench peg. If I am cutting stock gauge or lots of earring posts I loop a rubber band around the thumb grip and over the handle so my thumb gets a rest. Happy cuttttting crew ✂️👩🏻‍🔧” love the rubberband tip! 🤯 I’ve always used my jig for cutting out tube for making tube settings. Works wonderfully!! I bought mine at @Riogrande years back.
