Here is a fabulous production tip from @danaantoniadesigns when managing multiple bezels - "Today I had an ah-ha moment as I’m working my way through what I call a “Bezel Marathon” - I always find myself in this position the week before I have a craft show when I think “oh! I totally have enough time to make a million pairs of ______!” This week it’s stud earrings, which means making a ton of bezels for a ton of stones. I thought I would share how I keep everyone organized during this process as to keep the stones with their bezels. I match each bezel to each stone and sand the bezels down (as close as possible) to the correct height. I then lay them out on my silver sheet (or big-enough scraps) and trace out groupings. Smaller groupings help to make sure everybody’s heating up equally during soldering. Once I’ve cut the smaller shapes out of sheet, I make myself a diagram where I trace each shape and place the stones on my drawings so I know which stones are where on the silver pieces. The pieces being oddly shaped is a benefit because it helps to tell them all apart. While the bezels are pickling, I use small Avery labels to number each stone within a size category and stick them to the backs of the stones. I then scribe the numbers into the corresponding bezels before I cut them out. This way I can match the numbered stones & bezels when it comes time for setting! I used to just write numbers next to the stones, but I inevitably bump the tray and misplace everyone so the labels are a huge help."
