I know a lot of us are interested in working in gold…did you know one of my recent podcast episodes is all about that? The title is actually “not a gold expert” because I am constantly humbled by what I don’t know but I do my best to share what I have learned ❤️As for annealing, when it comes to working in gold you want to make sure you achieve an even cherry 🍒 red. While you do look for a low red color when annealing sterling silver (and working in a darker space is helpful for this) it is not quite this red. It’s annealed temperature is slightly lower than yellow gold alloys. I also flick my torch around a bit to check the color. Hope this is helpful! #annealing #annealinggold
