For this week’s #tooltalktuesday I wanted to show off some really cool sanding sticks I got from our sponsor @ottofrei1930 - These Pro Buff Sticks rainbow 🌈 (Part # 111.359) come in an assortment of 120, 240, 320, 400, 600, 800 & 1000 grits. They have soft handles and each one has 5 layers of abrasive paper on each side. When you completely wear out the surface you peel off a layer. I’ve been using them for a few months and have not yet peeled, but it looks super easy and quick to do. I love the size and that they are color coded, I will have to do something to differentiate 320 and 400 since they are both yellow 🙂 Sanding sticks are a hot topic (and an essential tool) you can definitely make your own but I personally am a huge fan of these. They save me time and the abrasive on them lasts way longer than when I make my own with regular sandpaper. No matter how you acquire them sanding sticks are awesome to use and definitely something I recommend! I hope some of you find this helpful! Otto Frei does offer our community 5% off your order with code MMSOF and each purchase also helps support the page so thank you! #jewelrytools #sandingsticks #jewelrymaking #jewelrymakingforbeginners
