Here is a soldering tip from @helen_aliye_derici - “I LOVE CROSS LOCK TWEEZERS 💙
Just found a new way to use them 🙃
They’re some of my all the time go-to tools.
Brilliant for soldering, for holding ear posts upright with weight for a strong solder join, for placing ear wires exactly where I want to solder them.
Great for making chain to isolate the joining link you want to solder, you can see exactly where you need to put the tiny chip of solder.
Perfect for soldering things to ring shanks, to hold the soldering set-up steady, bezel cups, my little silver flowers, prong settings, the clasps I make.
And I use them all the time to pick up the nuclear metal I’ve just soldered.
If I don’t, I burn my fingers like I did last week 😬
