Here is a finishing tip from @novake - “My Lortone triple barrel tumbler is just what I need for my small studio and my workflow. Depending on the desired end result, pieces can go through one or more barrels; each dedicated to its own process. One tumbler runs these processes and pieces simultaneously, saving production time.
Barrel 1: stainless steel tumbling media shot jewelers mix (work harden and shine)
Barrel 2: plastic media (soft matte finish)
Barrel 3: dedicated to patina application.” I never knew there was a triple tumbler! 😃 I like the idea of using different media in them and streamlining the process! Thanks for sharing with us!
