Here is a tip for holding a bracelet mandrel from @mariannejenningsstudio - “Stick a piece of wood inside the bottom of the mandrel( the wood is larger inside the mandrel and then I cut it down in width fit the vice ( leave a piece sticking out ) and put it in a vice to hold for you.
