Another way I’ve been experimenting with my sunstoneweld Orion 150s Pulse Arc Welder is using it to tack components in place so they absolutely do not move while I solder. I honestly don’t know if sticking my work into the Kaiser-Lee board was even necessary because by applying two small welds on the backside of my pendant and bail I know they are fused in place while I solder. The reason I solder is this instance (instead of just welding) is the solder will give me a super smooth seam but the welder saves me SOOOO much time and frustration. In seconds I know my component is where it needs to be. It’s not going to last minute shift and I won’t be overheating my piece attempting to solder.
