One immediate benefit of using my sunstoneweld Orion 150s Pulse Arc Welder has been working with chain. First I hold the link I want to weld with grounding tweezers that are attached to the welder. They allow the electrode to fire when I touch the link to it. I can seamlessly attach or repair chain links. In the past if I wanted to connect to chains I had to use a jump ring in-between. This also allows me to weld the chain while maintaining the temper (the hardness) and without causing oxidation which can be tricky to clean on a chain. It is such a privilege to be able to experiment with this welder, I am a beginner so thanks for following along as I learn!
