Pin Cushion Stand for Photographing Earrings

A tip from @flatlanderjewelry on pushing earring posts into a pin cushion to hold them upright for photos without clutter.

Here is a photography tip from @flatlanderjewelry - “I was having trouble getting my posts to stay where I wanted them for photographs, especially the ones with rounded or wonky sides. I didn’t want to have to use a lot of props or adhesives since they would clutter up the shot. I found that I could use my sewing box, since the top is essentially a giant pin cushion, and stick the posts where I want them. Anything soft but firm will work, as long as it has enough give to insert the earring without too much force.” Love this Caitlin, thank you for taking the time to send this tip to me to share 😄 we appreciate your time! #jewelryphotography #jewelryphotographytips
