Here is a workholding tip from @nelsonkingery - “Thought I’d share a tip I used today being overseas temporarily and I don’t have a vice or engraving ball (anything sturdy) to easily set stones. Used a mason jar cap as my base plate to heat and hold the thermoloc in. I screwed it down to the bench, let it cooled, and set the stone. Cheap, easy, and mobile.
