I have been loving my @potterusa hydraulic press, especially when I recycle my own metals! ♻️✨
Today, I melted down some tiny chains I’ve had for years (we’re talking smaller than 1mm). No shade to those who love dainty chains, but they don’t work with my jewelry—and they tangle in my hair! 😆
Recycling silver and gold in your own studio saves $$, especially with how expensive metals are right now. 😱
If you don’t have a hydraulic press, you can still work that metal magic:
🔹 Use a rolling mill
🔹 Try mini coin shot plates
🔹 Melt into small balls and hammer them flat
