Here is a tip for cleaning your space, cleaning your work while you saw, drill or cut seats - something I only started using in the last year. A bench brush! I actually posted a tip about using a paintbrush to clean your bench pin in the first month after I started Metalsmith Society. Since then I obtained this little Foredom bench brush from @riogrande they are under $5 and it’s retractable with a large and a small end. It’s one of those very simple tips that I don’t remember how I survived before I used one (I was messier?!? 🤷🏼‍♀️😂). You can totally use a paint brush but my cheap one was starting to lose bristles and I found the short, smaller end of this brush really great for cleaning settings while I’m cutting seats or cleaning off whatever I’m sawing so I can see what I’m doing. It’s also helped me collect silver and gold dust easier as I brush it into my file folder in my bench drawer!
