For this week’s #tooltalktuesday I wanted to show off these powerful cutters from @maunindustries 😍When I have wire that is thicker than 14g I put down my flush cutters and grab these. They are incredibly powerful! Perfect for trimming sprues from castings, clipping wires (it says up to 12g on the product description but I think you can get away with a bit thicker) and my most common use (which I show in the video) clipping scraps off my 18g sheet. I do this to make sawing something easier, or to fit the sheet into a disc cutter or to just remove scrap pieces I know I won’t be using. They are also designed to reduce fatigue if you have a lot of cutting to do, I find them very comfortable. The cuts they create have a bevel so if I’m cutting wire that I need flat I just place them in my miter jig and give them a few strokes of my file.
