I love a good organizing tip during the weekend! This stone storage solution came from @jbmetalstudio (Thanks Julie!) -“I got tired of digging through my cute not not practical vintage letterpress tray that I used to store turquoise cabochons in. I came up with this idea to keep stones organized and easier to view when I want to pick out just the right stone for a project. I bought a photo storage box from my local craft store and used a paper cutter to cut thick card stock to 7 x 3.75 inch cards. I then used double stick tape to stick cabs down on the cards.” Thank you for sharing and your stash is AMAZING! 😍 So many future pieces in that box! I love this bur storage solution from @piecesofstarrjewelry - “1/2 inch brass pipe ends and coupling (purchased from Home Depot :), I tried 3/4 inch and it’s too wide-you want them to stand up a bit more so 1/2 inch is best! Also in the bottom of one I have some brass casting grain to add a little height so the burs sit up a little more, and it adds weight!” 🙌🏻 I love this because honestly I own a carousel and I don’t love it, some of the burs bump into each other and it takes up a ton of space. I’d much rather keep a few of these on my bench.
